9.30pm your time and goes on till you all can't see any longer - looks like we're expecting an excellent turnout and my cnoference call is off so am leaving work at 4pm so traffic allowing I will be home around 4.30pm and so thats when the game starts (9.30-10pm BST) although the server is already running thats an 8.30-9am start for the kiwis - I expect they'll drop in after a while are we playing against bots all night or do we fancy some human on human violence? if so we'll need to get the teams right to avoid super pc bias (i.e. grix and jmax on opposite sides) although having said that the only people with not so good pcs now are the people who tend to be able to transcend such mundane considerations in my experience :p

If it's at a different IP to the last instantiation it won't make any difference if there are old and out-of-date IPs still listed in the favourites. Anyway, don't try using the IP addy given by grix at the start of the message thread, which I did, and which is, of course, by virtue of reverse lookup, an NZ-based IP and not a Canadian-based address .... The box in Nix gaff does show via montreal.globalcs.org:27015 and, at present, via an IP/port addy of 70.81.22.110:27015 ... my ping is averaging out at around the 150 mark as previously, so it should be fine for UK-based players.

Subject: Thanks JMAX, yes I just wanna clarify that tonight's game is at montreal.globalcs.org

but I personally will be checking out the ghostwatch dudes. HOwever, we haven't played amongst ourselves in so long that I figured we'd have this get together as a purely grixnix affair - especially as it looks like we're set for a good turnout. keeping it local

This has totally killed me ... I've been here over an hour and after countless updates and umpteen reboots i'm getting: --------------starts-------------- HL2 caused an invalid page fault in module FILESYSTEM_STEAM.DLL at 0167:0d4fe66f. ---------------ends--------------- Hurrah! But hope you had a nice game!
