A ride to the Central Station "Gara de nord" is 12-15 euros. - It is not advised to use credit cards in restaurants. They can copy your info and steal from it. (I am told.) - They should rely on euros here rather than pounds because they are easier to exchange. The exchange rate is 3.63 RON - 1 euro. RON stands for new "lei" which is the Romanian currency. If we pick them up from the airport and take them to Busteni straight away, we will take them to a bank on our way to exchange some money. They should not exchange money on the airport since the exchange rate is crap. - Rachel, Mami and Darren however should exchange 100 euros on the airport among themselves to cover the taxi to the central station and their train rides from Bucharest to Busteni. I will also write to them on Facebook. - Your friends should rent a car on the airport. "Logan" is the revamped Romanian brand with Renault. It is cheaper and it is fine.
