Have been told to get organized and post the arrangements on here so here is the proposed plan. Please let me know if you can make it. Nick's baptism into the Greek Orthodox Church happens directly before the ceremony itself on Saturday the 12th July in Sinaia 10km away from Busteni (bushTENNy) where we will be staying. Now I don't know how long people want to stay for. There are big fuck off mountains (2300m) right there at Busteni along with waterfalls, woods etc and Peles Castle and Dracula's castle (Bran) so it could make a nice place to bring your virgin daughters for a vacation. Busteni is on the border of Transylvania so be sure to bring lots of high collars. Brasov is nice medieval town 25km away. Sighisoara is very beautiful (2 hours or 100miles) and did I mention there's tons of huge mountains We have settled (wives vetos yet to be exercised) on a little chalet in the not so old part of Busteni for the groom's house. It has almost all rooms ensuite with exception of a couple of contained apartments (families?) which each share a bathroom. Raluca's family have sussed this place out and given it the thumbs up so we can trust the publicity about it. We chose this place cos it has tons of room for hanging out and we can all get naked in the sauna So, dates: I'm thinking you could start arriving wednesday or thursday (9th,10th) during the week before and then stay till the following weekend (19th,20th) if you like. You should aim to fly into Bucharest and we can rent vehicles to get us to in groups or couples so that we have enough transport between us to go exploring. I don't know how long people want to stay - 1 week? 2 weeks? am settling on 9-11 days for now till I get feedback. Let me know your thoughts and we'll try to get a consensus. Busteni is here and Sinaia is right next to it. Please reply to this thread with "I am definitely coming" or "I wont make it" or "WTF you're getting married!?!" or "No please wait, its not too late, I'll dump Brad and marry you instead! (please don't embarrass yourself again Angie)"

Hi Nik > K and I have been considering it > good to have dates > need to check but think kids have finished skoolin, very probable that we look to get coverage and just blast out there for 3-4days as a couple. will start to discuss it around and abouts also with D&G gang. last time we were together there was talk of a road trip, but it was very late at night!

that would be fantastic! please pass on the message to let me know ASAP so we can arrange accomodation etc. cheers p.s. if we dont see you in romania, we'll be visiting scotland afterwards anyhow but it would be great to get a good crew together for the party in the mountains

Since you are about to become a orthodox christian, thought I'd better check if the dates you are giving are Gregorian? Can't be too careful.

Nix, we are planning to be there (including wee Gracie), will probably stay in the Big Hoose for a couple of nights either side of the the Big Day if that was cool, then take off and do a bit of exploring. Exciting!
