On a netbook I would go solely ubuntu - windows is only useful for games these days - and games on a netbook ain't happening. So boot from ubuntu usb and wipe windows during ubuntu install. If you must dual boot (you'll get tired of it); - resize windows partition from windows to make some free space then install ubuntu into free space once you have done that ubuntu install will setup the dual boot automatically - just select the appropriate option when it comes to setting up the hard drive partitions during the install go just Ubuntu - you will not regret it

Connect to the Internet over wired network and make sure everything is updated then type these three commands in a terminal (it will prompt for your password): sudo add-apt-repository ppa:matt-price/mattprice sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install rtl8192-dkms This adds the repository mentioned here https://launchpad.net/~matt-price/+archive/mattprice and installs a driver for your wifi

christ no it is easy: Use the GUI programs Ubuntu Software Centre or System->Administration->Synaptic Package Manager to browse and install software Or if you want to go terminal use these commands >sudo apt-cache search something-you-want >sudo apt-get install app-package-name

install inkscape and dependencies first: >sudo apt-get install inkscape python-gtk2 python-serial librsvg2-common then download and run the command : >tar -xzvf Downloads/InkCut-1.0.tar.gz -C .config/inkscape/extensions/ (assuming you downloaded to directory Downloads) Then run Inkscape - Inkcut is a plugin for Inkscape.
