My comment wasn't aimed at any of the known players friday night (i reserve judgement on the strays one of whom was definately cheating in Speedball at the end). It was just an attempt to relate ping and degree of fuckedness. ie the slower your ping the bigger the excuse for not getting caned, conversely the hosters must get mashed with the only proviso being that it doesn't interfere with the server! If you ping high get absolutely mashed and do the business you're a hero!! half life dedicated server - i asssume- (hlds)is a free download from bonafide CS sources. you just need to install it in the right CS directory and set your settings (! and you're off. I suggest getting it and having a play (ala Jim). See you on your server soon! I thought i replied to most of your typed comments -they showed on my screen- obviously not on yours. I'll get a new mike and test it B4 next time. Typing is frustrating as you lose valuable prep time.. not the way to do it. All-in all it was another good global trial- we soon all have it cracked with our various handicaps
