you have to do it yourself. Start counterstrike, select <play counterstrike> then select <customise>. While you're in there make sure that voice communication is enabled.

Subject: Hey rex, an idea for what might be causing Stix's drops....
...check his DHCP lease time - am thinking that if he has a lease time of 5mins and BT is reallocating his IP address then that might well show up as him being constantly connected to the net but dropping from games. If you can't find a setting in windows - maybe he can pay a little more for a static IP.

I am having no problems at all with BT, i have it on all the time now that i have cleans my machine of virii that had been inhabiting my computer... did a virus check and found shed loads on it...
If i was stix i would check for virii and makesure that windows was completley updated

rex - I will be about from 8pm onwards on Thursday night so welcome to come up. My system is working now, problem with connector.
Dex- will run virus scan (you obviously copied Guru Nix's suggestion). For the avoidance of doubt I do not have any nasty videos stored away, on my computer anyway !

good to hear that bt is capable of customer satisfaction (dex - is bt ok if just cs running?)... we'll just have to figure out whats peculiar with stix's setup. the machine had a fresh install of win2k so ??
the digital phone incompatability is high up my list but we'll cover as many bases as poss after 8 on thurs...
