Subject: The best part of CS:CZ....

... has got to be the trailors for half-life 2. I cream my pats every time I watch them - oh man! fuck those wankers at 3d realms - who needs duke nukem forever when you've got a fully interactive pant wettingly stunning graphics successor to HL coming out. I WANT IT NOW!!!! Only played CS:CZ for about 5 minutes so far so can't slag it too much but the deleted scenes seem distinctly average and whilst I am very impressed with the AI, why the fuck would I want to play CS with myself when I've got all you bitches to slap aboot? Anybody want to give me an upside to CS:CZ then I'm all ears. What aboot the graphics for Half-life 2 though - I'm busrting - I've got a steaming healthy kidney (surplus to requirements) sitting here for the person who can get me a copy NOW!!!

Subject: Maps for 1.6

CS Bananado a host of map packs for download with instructions for unloading them into the steam folder for 1.6 play. It appears normal 1.5 maps are fine generally. Load up... I agree re condition zero but it could be handy having bots online for say 3 of us to mash and feel fleetingly superior :1

yeah rex, i agree we can all join up and take it in turns to knife a couple of bots we've got cornered and make ourselves feel really good

Subject: but not all....

some ask if you want to overwrite files so I guess these need unzipping to a temp and then moved across into respective folders as usual. the gunslinger ones flew in though.. 1.6 is filling up

Subject: Easy does it

some maps are different eg arab streets.... so I tried copying across the entire cstrike dir from Sierra to Steam and the maps wouldn't complete loading so easy option is out unless we can find what needs to be saved from the steam cstrike dir I should have claimed my own thread for this experiment...

Subject: Oops just reinstalling steam now

don't copy cstrike from old 1.5 to steam. even with backing up it failed to restore. looks like we have to install the maps freshly.... unless someone else wants to take on the challenge
