Subject: New Zealand for new year
Me and Catharine have just provisionally booked flights to Auckland, then on to Melbourne, leaving UK 26, arriving 28 ish.. and departing to Melbourne 7 days after to catch up with the family.. it all loose at the moment but we will be setting in concrete next saturday, but we have the seats confirmed yippee
But we need to know the following
should we be flying to Christchurch.
Grix and Kix you still are having the new year bash, i hope so as we have just lashed out a lot of wonga
And who else is heading over

hoping to fly into christchurch early-mid dec and spend 2 weeks doing S.Island highlights then work north...

Subject: sweet! excellent news dex. New Year bash is definitely happening
it doesn't really matter whether you fly to Christchurch or Auckland - they are both a one hour flight or eight hours by road (& ferry from Christchurch). If people get themselves to Wellington I can pick them up at the airport

i paid 850 through trailfinders fior Glasgow - London, London - Hong Kong with Virgin, Hong Kong -Auckland with Air New Zealand then Auckland - Chch.

if anyone is going via north america (60kg baggage allowance) maybe you could take a few kg for me as over asia is a 20kg limit and my paraglider weighs 20 kg on it's own!
