i do like cs source and the new look and levels although i deffo need some training against the bots good to se everyone there - just missing fix, mex, jmax and stix (of course)

It depends on whether you wanna be able to upgrade it or not. Dual cores are hitting the market this year and will run on the same motherbaords as the current AMD64 chips. This requires a socket 939 motherboard which are slightly more expensive and do not support the cheapo sempron chips. There's all sorts of options out there for you stix - its a very exciting time to be a geek..... ....but..... ....as you are not a geek in any way shape or form save that you play computer games then why don't you tell me your budget and I'll recommend something from www.dell.co.uk - I think this would be the best - then you get a nice 3 year warranty and it becomes Dell's problem to make sure your pc works. If you wanna go for self build then I recommend an AMD64 with a gig of DDR400 and a Geforce 6800GT. Thats not the minimum you can run CS:Source on but its very cheap now(they sell the MB+CPU as a bundle on tiger for $450) and it will blow your mind.
