cornwall has quite a few sites at the mo, not everyones cup of tea though, environmentalists especially can be very sceptical about them as they can have an effect on the wildlife, especially birds, as well as noise pollution and tyhe effect on tourism etc... i think they look quite nice personally, the uk apparently has the most number of suitable sites of all the european countries according to one article...

we should build lots of nuclear power stations instead.. a good green fuel that will only cause disruption for the next 2000 years.. much prefer power pylons

well if you Londeners want nuke power why don't you build it in London; In fact now I come to think of it London must use 60% (?) of power generated in the UK and how much do they produce? didly fecken squat I think; just another nimby; and further to that rant from my insider info (stix) a wind turbine has a life of 25 years; compair that to a nuke plant; what do you want to leve your grandchildren? assuming the leaks from sellafield have left you with swimmers that have any idea which way to go.

it's some of the f*ckin landowners I hate, greedy little bastards. I have just been held over the barrel with my trousers at my ankles by one today and had to give him £ 50k to continue progress. Not very pleasant. stix
