hello gamers well am back from Ontario finally and its 1am saturday morning. talked to a few of you on skype in the week and there was interest for a game in four hours time. the server is back up and running in spite of grix's best efforts (dunno why but it failed to reboot so the driver might work - don't know - too tired - its online using the old card still just now) so because there is no post on here re the game, I am not gonna set my alarm clock. However, if you guys chat and decide you wanna play then call me on my cell phone which will be right by my bed. Will leave skype plugged into my speakers too but don't skype me unless you've got ppl to play please. ok, later dudes and dudesses

actually something is badly wrong and am too tired to fix it I can access my server from inside my LAN but not from montreal.globalcs.org also, am not able to connect to steam servers from my server so something is fucked up have checked that the montreal.globalcs.org resolves to my WAN address and my router says everything is normal so I don't know. am off to bed - if someone else fixes it then great please call me otherwise I'll talk to you all later and maybe gaming on sunday morning XXX N

think you need to remove the driver as I outlined

all fixed now by changing the entry in the init file. I didn't remove the driver though so maybe you can see if its working and if so you and I can experiment with switching the ethernet cable to the gigabit card. If I had known you were gonna try swithcing them over I would have wired up two ethernet cards to the router.

did have a look just now but it said "server out of date"
