Hi guys I am fine.. and very lucky. My stations were hit by the bombs today but as i was late and the tube network had been shut down.. i decided not to get a bus (they hit the bus that i could have got as well) and walked in Its all been very scary today but i guess someone was looking after me.. ie me.. Waterloo was very crowded but when i saw what was going on decided to get the fuck away from any public transport and rely on my legs. Its madness down here. Saw heli ambulances move casualties.. flew 6 times backwards and forwards from Aldgate and Liverpool street.. god knows how many people have been killed but as it was at height of rush hour can imagine. It was all very surreal in London, phones werent working, but everyone was talking to each other finding out was going on and where to avoid.. I will keep posting as i know more .. but me and catharine are fine!! dex

Well it all seems to be calming down here.. no more bombs for 4 hours which is good.. Still not sure what is going on but am going to be heading home soon. Linking up with Catharine. Some people in the office have friends effected.. Clarices friend was in bus behind the bus explosion.. all very weird I will post again more when i know more Beer definitely sorts you out when stressed.. we all went out for lunch and 2 pints later i feel a lot better <- is what i really want will have a large one when i get home

glad to hear your ok dex, seems to be a day for near misses, my brother didnt go into work today he usually gets off at russel square tube.... glad i'm out of london, too scary now. i hope it wasnt the french getting us back for our earlier comments on this board !!!!!!!

Its been a very weird day.. everyone is walking in london.. managed to get a train from waterloo bit stressed about that as the train was completely full but nothing ontoward happen... got catharine back safe as well... am now about to light a big and chill out not really sunk in yet and still dont know if its over... hopefully it is! bastards! sorry but they could have killed me and catharine today.. not happy at all with them.. hmm wonder whats going to happen now but anyway the "general" is fine and is eager to wipe out some terrorists and it wasnt the french as one my work mates in the office could have been hit as well.. i wonder who it was?

Good to hear that you're alive and that you're not going in tomorrow - I certainly wouldn't do if I were in your position. If you want to kill some terrorists later we could all go CT around 10.30 and wipe out the oppostition in an assault special.

Holly's over the moon with your postings as she's gotta write a news diary in school this morning. Having a friend in the thick of the action has got to be a winner. I'll send you a gold star from the teacher. First thing i did when i heard about the bombings (which wasnt until 8.30 am NZ time) was to check the board to make sure none of the CS teamsters was down. Glad you and C are still with us xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Keep up the drinking/smoking until you feel immortal again.
