remember your problem you had after changing your friends laptop from logging in to a domain to logging into a workgroup then you couldn't log on? I just did that with my laptop I just got from work! Couldn't log on at all - no access to my machine. Probably too late for you but the solution is to log on as the local Administrator. Using this to boot and at the boot menu type 'ntpass' which loads utilities that walk you through blanking the Administrator password - very easy and very useful. Saved my bacon.

yeah I tried some sort of rescue CD at the time but it didn't work. Don't matter anyhow. am excited about finally getting to start on some Qt (fingers crossed). So now you're working from home, we can expect to see you dropping in for the odd hour of CS:S eh?
