Subject: has anyone been playing with my server settings in any way?
I spent last night trying to get my CSS server to show up on the net with no luck. It used to work and I have not changed anything. I know one or two of you tinker now and then so am wondering if anything has been changed in the past month or so.
Its driving me mental and am not sure that going and buying yet another router is gonna fix the problem.

thanks del. ach well I just fired up a game of CS 1.6 and I can't see that either so its prob not my CSS config. Gonna try my old router (DI-714P+) again because there's unlikely to be anything wrong with it and www.portforward.com say that its better than my DI-524+
fingers xed folks - btw if anyone has any useful tips or hints or things that have worked for you, please let me know (apart from you del

)

what's the URL or IP of their server? would like to go visit them.
am gonna be seriously upset if we don't have our own server back online by friday but whether or not we do that, its a great idea to make friends with another clan - nice one moleman! how many of them are there? it would be good to play us against them so long as they're not leagues beyond us.

I can ssh in but cannot reach the web server from outside even though it is running fine and accessible locally.
Started dynamic ip daemon for you - will start on boot up now as well
You do have something (don't know what!

with a MAC address (ie network card) with an ip address of 192.168.0.255 - thats bad, 255 is broadcast.
Don't know your name / passwd for you router so couldn't look at that.

I put in the dmz of the router and the cs server shows up immediately
It seems your router is a bit crap

I think your router needs to be switched off and given a rest for a couple of minutes then switched back on again
lost connection mid way through a rdesktop session

but ssh and rdesktop don't anymore - bizarre!
your router seems to just choose what it wants to do
