Can you help me find out stuff about new orleans?

what sort of stuff? history? economy? modern? jaz?

try here - the acadians were french settlers who got pushed out of canada by the nasty brits (us) and this is a good one travel info current news recent history remember that not everything on the internet is true young hex but I think you can gain a good idea from reading the various accounts. I googled for "New Orleans originally settled" - perhaps you could try "New Orleans levees" to find out more about their river flood defenses?

Did you know that at the same time as the flooding in New Orleans, Switzerland was also being flooded but not quite as badly. Not all that relevant but here are some pictures I took at the time anyway
