What an excellent wedding, perfect in every way. The sun shone on both of them and it was a real pleasure to be at. Here's my summary of events for those who didn't make it but wish they could have : 1) The weather was shaping up to be probably one of the best this year. Anna and Rex even factored in a nice breeze for some kite flying ! 2) In the morning 'our party' went a lovely walk down the coast to the Southern point of Bute which was great 3) We then went to the very lovely and loving civic ceremony at Rothesay which I think had Stepane Grappelli and Bob Dylan as background music. Most excellent. 4) Then headed to the beach for the beach party and I think that all was achieved in terms of food, fun, relaxation and weather. The food was fantastique, the weather got better, just at that moment when we arrived, and the kite flying was immense, especially the flying lilo ! The company was excellent and we met a few of Rex and Anna's friends. Brilliant/perfect 5) Headed off to the village hall for the speeches and and more fun. The speeches were absolutely brilliant and from the bottom of a few hearts. Fix done an excellent job of refilling the bride and grooms glasses when Anna got on a roll and was in no mood for stopping !! She is some girl and we all love her, and you too Rex, of course ! 6) Luke became besotted by Anna and became, in my view, a real wee pain. He was funny though and I think he fancied his chances with Anna and was on course to disrupt the ceremony so that she could be his !! It wouldn't bloody surprise me. He's a wee character and we love him too 7) The music was excellent, the company even better and well Rex and Anna what can we say ! It was a pleasure to be at , like Dex and Catharine's too, and it is so good being part of all these lives, and you all too. That did not mean to rhymn like that but it does so that's that ! x

It was completely fab, the whole 3 days just wish that we could have stayed up longer as bute is a beautiful island, the view of arran was outstanding, and what a beach, what a beach

she's doing just grand, thanks. decent sleep is a distant memory, but we had kind of expected that. I'm back at work now.
