I would encourage you all to try it - it does everything skype does (chat, phone video). It even integrates into firefox and it supports lots of standards which is a good thing.

of course it doesn't interoperate with skype - skype is proprietary and closed source, no-one can interoperate with skype - that's why standards are good and why skype is bad.

I am with you, got as far as logging in, and thought skype does this ... and its finished, so i too am going to wait until its finished..
its looks nice though and i totally concur Skype is getting a bit evil now that its turned all american on us ... .. ..
