I've downloaded a total of 89 surf maps, and, of the dozen or so I've tried to play so far, none of them appear to do what you suggest ... most don't even open, i.e. trying to create a server is like simply clicking an empty button, and while skyworld does open there's nothing playable about it, unless falling for ten seconds and incurring 701 damage counts as playable?

How about posting a download (and even some screenshots) for your playable map so we know what we're supposed to be getting hold of?

yeah I totally understand what you mean - its a nice map but its not a beginners surf map. i can only occasionally make the jump across the break and I dont know why when I do make it so am gonna include a not so nice but much more friendly surf map that we can use to learn how to surf. No point going from zero to impossibly frustrating - point taken.
Had to go find a replacement for the avril lavigne map I'd downloaded so thats the reason for the hold up. Soon...... soon.....

GRIX: can you make a link to a pack called map_pack_2.zip on this website and remind me where to put the map pack once its ready to download please?

OK, so a few of the hundred plus surf maps I now have do actually load, and I even survived the initial jump on one of them, but exactly what is it about these maps that's so special, as I'm not sure that I quite get it?
You said you were looking for "levels [which] needed to be small, feel professional", yet these seem to be lacking in both those qualities - what am I missing?

yeah I was making an exception for the surf map - i dont really expect it to catch one on the server. think you'll like the others I've got for you though. just ignore the surf unless you decide you wanna try it.
new map pack is on the server. if i add a simple and easy surf map then it will be downloaded from the game server when played - not a biggy.
please everyone remember to download it and unzip it into your cstrike directory so we can try them out soon.
