an interesting wee angle on the current Israel expansionism from the peakist

didn't read the whole article I have to admit but on a less conspiracy theorist track, there is a very pragmatic and optimistic interpretation of israel's actions (which does not excuse invasion and occupation etc etc but hey this is one of those things like the balkans from what I can make out where fuckwits from both sides have been butchering the other in turns for hundreds of years) and that is that israel, so far, has managed to attain peace and security on all of its borders apart from the lebanese one and that this is merely their attempt to rectify this. Remember that when israel and egypt were at war when we were kids no-one thought that could ever end either.
