Subject: destination for new years - update

so for those of you thinking about coming over and wondering why it would be preferable to get to Quebec City rather than Montreal if you arrive after the 27th, here is the google earth link to where we are staying

its easy to get a train to quebec city where i will pick you up. Obviously if a bunch of people arrive on the same day I can pick you all up or you can share a rental car - we'll sort something out.

Tickets bought and we arrive on the 29th, flying Air Swiss to Montreal, then train to Quebec and then someone needs to pick us up..

great going dex , sax and i need to get our fingers out. nix - I need to plan this pretty well as we have wee luke to accomodate. A couple of things before I go ahead and book. Ski Accomodation - what dates is this booked for ? can we get a double and a single room (obviously paying extra) Travel - Correct me if I am wrong but montreal city is the best one to fly into. I am concious of wee luke's patience and want to get there as quickly as possible but without having to sell my remaining working arm ! cheers dood

its six double rooms mate as we already discussed. I did however negotiate that the wee man stays for free and they are expecting him. anyone who comes from here will not be coming for the whole time so perhaps he could have a double room to himself for the nights that the last room is spare and you could have him the room with you (in a cot / single bed) for the other nights? anyway, we have the chalet from the 27th (late afternoon) to the 10th (morning presumably). rex and anna are booked too

oh and the best airport to fly into is quebec city as you will avoid a two hour train / car journey i will obiously pick you up from quebec city once you get there or if you arive in montreal on the 26th or 27th we can hire 2nd car between us and drive in convoy to the chalet (3 hours drive altogether) anyways best to discuss by chat tomorrow - am sure we can come up with something

fantastic news

would be a good idea though if you could all remember to send me your flight details so I have them on record for picking you up. also you will want to bring your uk driving licences as we will want to rent a 2nd vehicle between us and so it would be good if we had more than one driver.

hiya, long time no speakeee how much are flights costing just out of interest? very much doubt i can afford it. still, this may change in years to come as my little brother is going to start training to be an airline pilot ! so it'll be long weekends in montreal etc...
