nice find! yeah AVG is really starting to annoy me actually. Not being able to exclude disks from the regular virus scans and just general lack of control. I have to say I don't feel guilty for not upgrading now the free ride has ended. I bought commercial versions for work and so they're strategy paid off - free for me so I make sure someone else pays them. Now I imagine I will start to do the same for Avira. If you're willing to pay for security software I recommend BitDefender - I use it currently at work and am very impressed.
