Thanks Fix. My scope is a manual with no Goto capability so it wont work for me but maybe one day
In the meantime I am back talking to my friendly local architect about getting a platform installed on the back of our house for stargazing

platform? back of house? that is so lame you should just rip open the roof above your bed and put in a sliding window that way you can see the stars from bed and you will stay warm.
