Been trying to set up fix's CS and all good except that when I try to admin all the number keys work except 0 so can't exit the admin box. Same goes for radio commands. Have checked through the config files and 0 definately isn't bound to any other function.

The 0 has to be bound to slot10 which you can't do in options, keyboard cos there isn't a slot 10 so you need to write bind "0" "slot10" in the cfg file.

think you're missing the point there mex in that you are the only one of us who bothers or even knows how to change your config file

It's all been on Fix's behalf. His machine is now up to date with maps etc and all set to go, I even bought him a mouse mat although it hasn't solved the problem of his field of view diving to the ground when straffing or making sudden turns. Tried it with a differant mouse but didn't make any differance. The mouse sensitivity is down pretty low and the box to smooth mouse movements is ticked so no idea why it's happening. Even on windows desktop the (optical) mouse cursor wanders around the screen of it's own accord! I've checked the obvious mouse properties through the control panel and it all looks ok. Any suggestions for that one?

a quick search of google suggests that it could be a virus (doesnt sound like the magistr virus though) or the surface you're using (you tried fixing that), or the shit mouse you have. Have you tried slowing down the mouse in windows control panel in case that sensitivity feeds into the game mouse settings? Perhaps you can have low sensitivity in windows and choose your sensitivity in game.
dont even go there grix
