Kiwi contingent up for 10pm nz time on sunday

I will be there unless civilisation ends or my house is blown away and I end up talking to unlikely beings made of straw and tin. Thing is there is a storm a comin - big one with 10m waves and 140kmph winds (wonder if the surfers will be out) and it may well wipe out all life in Nova Scotia or at least all electricity and with it the internet. Interestingly, although I do have a stocked freezer and a newly full bottle of gas for the BBQ, our water supply is pumped up from the aquifer below by electricity. Anyway, I fully expect to be online and gaming at some ungodly hour tomorrow morning. However, its perfectly possible that I will be busy defending my BBQ and full Britta with a kayak paddle whilst eyeing up the neighbour's dog as a protein packed meal full of liquid yumminess.

yeah we get 140kmph winds every day............pathetic excuse i was really looking forward to being cannon fodder too nevermind, maybe we'll get together on the when there's just a light breeze

sorry. does anyone else remember what a crappy electricity system the UK had when we were children and how we had to keep candles in the house and how exciting the semi-regular blackouts could be? well north america is still there! we just got electricity restored after a day of no water, heat (we have oil powered heating but for some fucked up north american reason it only works when the electricity is on) or internet we are back to what constitutes civilisation here. got to say it was fun sawing through a 50foot, tree which had fallen across me driveway, on the way to collect ral from the airport but apart from that my weekend was a bust. was a mere 10 minutes away from gloriously head shotting you all when the grid here finally decided to shit itself completely (after making ample use of my UPSs for the preceding 4 hours). how can a country (America with its northern canadashire colony - if you think I'm being harsh here please go see what became of cretien's bill to decriminalise cannabis and only then go fuck yourself) which rules the world be so crap and what does that say about the rest of us? next weekend?
