Ok so the dates I have booked the big house for are the 9th till the 20th of July. Lufthansa fly into Bucharest and also Wizz Air fly very cheaply into Bucharest - Baneasa. From there, its a rental car to drive to Busteni. So far, my "definites" are Del&Catharine Stu&Sandra Rex&Anna Woody&Paula Karen&Mike Gillian&John Ted&Mog Phil&Mark so that fills up the big house even without any kids and I assume there will be some (I think we have a little wriggle room in the house with day beds and such like so we'll worry about it as we get closer to the time) plus there are a few other people who have mentioned they might come. Not to worry though as other accomodation will be easy to find (I can help as I have access to local knowledge). There are down town apartments, other big houses (one with a tennis court I think - would be cool if we could fill that too) and hotel rooms for those who just cannot get organised or don't want to be tied down Oh and the first prize for putting your money where your mouth is goes to the Fix for buying his flight to Budapest (wrong country but its the thought that counts ) The price for staying at the house whether you stay one or ten nights is around 220 euros per couple but if you leave and we fill your room we'll give you money back. we're very very sad that the kiwis wont be making it and so we're inviting everyone to NZ for new years 2008/9 on their behalf
