Subject: ok, back to planning talk for summer

hello everyone, So, its february and so, if i am gonna book a second house, I need to get some confirmations and dates. I realise that my chances of success in this are very similar to what they would be if I were attempting to heard cats. However, try I must. The issue at stake here is whether I should book a second house and if so for how long. So far, if everyone comes who says they are coming, we'll need the 2nd house for probably 7 days, after which time, we can compress anyone who is left into the first house. Clearly, I could just stick to one house and allocate rooms on a first confirmed basis and if there are too many of us the rest can get hotel rooms but I figure we'll all have more fun in the houses - especially if one is early rising family friendly and the other less so. If you agree that this would be better then I can either wait for notices of "our flights are booked" or a general consensus of "get the 2nd house for 7 days nix and even if we dont fill all the rooms all the time, its cheap anyway so we'll all just go for a reasonable share of the total". Obviously its my gig so I dont mind taking a hit on it. I just dont want two huge houses and 5 guests BTW the 2nd house has its own tennis court as well as pool table etc etc and is close to the first house. I need to let Ral's parents know this week really so they can book the 2nd place so firm dates and plans or copies of airline ticket receipts would be helpful

I knew I could count on you to think outside the box and come up with practical solutions

Subject: Chariots of hire

Has anyone come across any good car hire options from Bucharest? All seem like a bunch of cowboys to me! For Flights Lufthansa airlines seem to be the best option from Edinburgh if you go through their site, much cheaper than expedia etc. Where/when you flying from fx?
