Kix got me Crysis for my birthday and it is fantastic. Beautiful graphics, BIG outside levels that let you go wherever you want, excellent - like Bioshock mixed with CoD4 get it

am not sure my PC is good enough to play crysis - gonna try the demo. How is the story? I heard it was just a tech demo

my box runs it great, beautiful outdoor areas- story is great - marine in a 'nanosuit' fighting north koreans and aliens - shoot guns, drive jeeps, trucks, helicopters etc, jump high, run fast, cloak yourself its got me really addicted like a good game does

yeah I dropped the resolution down from 1920x1200 to 1280x720 and it runs smooooooooth. Stunningly beautiful game. Probably the best game to appreciate modern graphics cards. I think the next but one game from crytek will be completely film like. I love the way that everything is destroyable and the wildlife is fantastic (I love killing chickens then picking them up, throwing them straight up in the air and then seeing how far I can punch them as they fall back to earth). Who cares if it is just a tech demo - its fun to play and its impressive tech. I'll buy it as soon as I've finished bioshock ( playing the crysis demo just now).
