Can some one please help ? I want to add me as a user to caros windows8 pc, every time I add the user I then try to log on (it takes the password then I get "Check the connection by (thru) the Service profile user - impossible to load the user profile" (translated from french) I have tried with a local account, some sort of remote microsoft account got a "welcome to the MS family " pish email. All the help pages I've seen talk about fucking about in regedit and copying the old profile over.............

even a decent help page would help, all the windows boards I have found are full of erroneous information.

thans grix, i did see that page but as usual with ms it is not very clear - first they blame to virus checker then they only talk about existing accounts that have gone tits up. The whole thing stems from a book I bought ( yea mad, should just have nicked it) from google that was, for some reason that fails me locked with adobes drm shit and after 3 days trying to open it on ubuntu I thought it would be easier JUST to install it all kosher on caros box, think I will just go back to wine on ubuntu.........
