So dex, mex and I played a quick campaign through today and OMG what a fantastic co-op game - the sense of team spirit, the looking out for each other, the panic, the co-operation, the rescues, the missed rescues, the blaming, the moaning, the accusations, the recriminations, the bad feeling, the bullying - all the reasons we hang out - all in a nice little online game
p.s. it appears impossible to use a specified server but it doesn't appear to matter.

Can't mke it unless the weather is really shit and I don't have to go to work. Didn't have to go yesterday and looks like won't have to go today either so if it doesn't improve...

I have an NZ server I fire up which is at
kapiti.globalcs.org:27016
To connect you need to enter the console in L4D.
Enable the 'developer console' option in L4D Options->
then press '~' key and type
connect kapiti.globalcs.org:27016
but probably just as good using the in built lobby system
