Subject: for Mozilla browser users...
Go to Edit | Preferences | Advanced | HTTP Networking and check Enable Pipelining. This fetches everything on the page in a single connection, rather than one connection per item.
It is switched off by default because some servers and proxies have problems with pipelining, but it seems to improves browsing performance.

Subject: can't say i noticed a huge difference
its a shame that mozilla interpret stylesheets differenty from opera and internet explorer, we are having problems with this but are working on it, and it is a lot slower in windows....
but we use it in here as we hate IE
