... is it a big improvement on dialup as I've heard. Desperately trying to improve my company's internet access but we've no access to cable or dsl and 2-way satellite has disappointing upload speeds (30-60k) [Not sure what I can do about your bathroom. I'm coming to visit in Summer (any chance of crashing at yours?) and so I could try and sort it with you then.]

what a flipping day i had yesterday fucking hell., upgraded my server software and then couldn't see the internet... turns out that the dumb fucks at the isp at the same time i was upgrading, suffered outage..so i was trying everything, but no it was those dumb fucks a 'broken pipe" isdn is ok, 128 dual band width but surely they would be better with adsl if its available, are they to far from an exchange to get adsl? And as far as adsl here i am at the mercy of design is central..... the buggers and i will sort bathroom out once i get myslef out of the post holiday blues and of course you can stay, its your flat you dumb ass

ADSL not available or cable - in an office building built specifically for companies in the "new economy" - dumb as fuck public sector wankers Thinking of linking an office of 8 people to a one 128k ISDN dedicated pipe. Other choices are 2-way satellite (down 400, up 30-60) or strapping two analog phone lines together with a 2-modem router. Whadya think? What would you go for? Most people in the office are fairly light users but we sometimes send or recieve large emails. Design is central are buggers - they promised you adsl!

i would go with isdn seems like the best, used isdn at octopus and was quite good , obviously not as good as adsl.. definitely don't go the phone route, could you live with a internet connection of 56k shared with other people, nah get isdn !! yes i know they are but am on the case as per fucking usual... and i am deifnitely converted to mac land by the way macs are so much better, just a shame no fecking games for them, that they are double the price of pc's and you can't get parts for them apart from that they are ther total geek machine!!!!!

So you all shared an ISDN(128k) and it was livable with?
