Subject: how to get rid of windows messenger

After no end of trying to uninstall it, remove it from components, disabling it explorer, outlook express and start up it still wouldn't go away but if anyone out there wants rid of it too, go to Run and type (or paste ) RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\inf\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove hit okay and asta la vista baby don't worry I'm not turning into a geek (or am I?), I got help from the support line. I now like my new toy a whole lot more.
