Hey Grix, a friend has had her yahoo mail account compromised and people in her address book have been receiving spam from her. I told her to change her password, anything else she should do?

Make sure none of the configuration / management setting on her account have been changed like: - other email addresses - mail forwarding - POP3 and SMTP settings use a long passphrase rather than a password Her friends may well still receive spam from her though as anyone can send email as anyone and now they know her email and her friends' email....
