Yep, although mics tend to result in death by too much chat! Would be nice if poss to play a game at a reasonable hour Euro time although the Thursday night slot does seems to work for just about everyone even though it means I don't get to bed 'till 5. Pity we never got to play us against the world, I was looking forward to that.

yeah mex, where did you go? Did you suddenly pass out? I was merely suggesting that I go on the opposite team until more players arrived because otherwise people would leave - as you saw. We can only take on the rest of the world if there are already at least as many foreigners as us. Players are like bees and servers are the flowers. If players think they're getting screwed by the people running the server then they go play somewhere else. My server already has a pretty bad rep for kicking people all the time. Good gaming though. Did Grix take the afternoon off work? On the chat front, the more Grix and I chatted and made burgle noises (to check that our mouths really did move in time with our utterances), the better we did but yes, those of us who have trouble running and listening (walking and chewing gum?) at the same time might be in trouble It was good to have everyone online at the same time even if it was only for an hour or so. Maybe there's an early saturday morning GMT / Saturday evening NZ slot that we could try? (I get so confused with everyone's time zones)

Cool! lets make it a regular thing then. I'll try to make it the other side of 5pm, say 4 to 4.30 latest rather than 5.20 like it was last night. Not sure exactly how long we will all be in this position (grix is starting full-time for one thing) so I suggest we make it a regular fixture for the immediate future if at least 3-5 others agree. i don't want to do a regular thurs night (friday daytime for me) as it is daytime and it is VERY antisocial! i am on holiday until the 12th jan but after that i am on a 5 day week so not possible for me. i will get an [GLOBAL] Wellington CS server set up for gaming NZ night - GMT morning at the weekend so me and kath can both play and i just need to persuade you northerners to play some sat or sun daytime gaming (not that nix and mex need any persuading) fix get broadband NOW!

and i hae a microphone as well so i too will be gurg;ing away 4 days untill broadband fab what can i say everything is going to plan have got job, sorting out my mothers life, sorted out broadband and have a girlfriend. wow not going for 6 weeks of being back in london, oh and have got a supplier for all my green needs ahhh london is cool, even if it is full of a few tossers like myself oy stix give us a bell at some point you bog rat, you never phone
