Scared, you must be joking !! I think I am having a family day on Saturday so an appearance is unlikely. I am, as always up for some carnage and bad shootin so until the next time.

ok, I have setup a dynamic IP redirect for 24.202.81.10 which is my new temporary IP address. I can't get a fixed IP address but the URL
globalcs.servecounterstrike.com
now maps to that IP. At present I have to update the records manually at
www.no-ip.com
but I am hoping to get a linux client which will automagically update the no-ip records everytime my IP changes (or at say 30 minute intervals). Anyhow, long/short is that you can change the link to globalcs.servecounterstrike.com and it should always point to my ip address - how easy is that?
If you decide to go install a client for me I would be very grateful - you can message me if you need root access. For now, I am gonna concentrate on getting some new mods installed. I have reinstalled linux over the top of the old installation in the hope that that will proof against any lingering security holes and I have set it to automatically update itself which should fix the two recently identified exploits.
Its been a nasty week including me hitting a tree and tearing a ligament in my knee but I'm looking forward to CS on saturday - hope the UK contingent can spare a couple of hours to have a smoke and a kill.

So is 24.202.224.15 obsolete now?

ok have downloaded a linux client to /tmp/no-ip but don't know if I'l have time to install and configure it before saturday. Also, unsure as to whether I should let it run as root - kindof think not but unsure whether it needs to or not. Would prefer it to run as global or if you set it up then maybe get it to run as grix. Anyhow, if you get the time, have a look and let me know what you think, cheers.
btw the "global" user currently owns the tarball with the client in it.
