I was under the impression we'd all kindof agreed to move to 1.6 now which is why I've been leaving the 1.6 server up. I've got rio and arabstreets installed and pretty much everything we used to play. Hoping JMAX will put together a pack so we can all easiy get his maps installed.
The latest map pack to install is at the same place as last time and is called
Counter-Strike Classical Map Pack v2.5
don't bother with the tar (that's for me) just run the exe and when it asks you for your root counter-strike directory, point it to
disk:\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\username\counter-strike
and NOT the "cstrike" directory which we usually copy maps to. The exe will put the maps etc into the cstrike directory. Otherwise everything will be in the cstrike\cstrkike directory and we don't want that

One more thing: rex it sounds like you need to learn how to stop and start the server. If I catch you online I'll show you.
