Subject: Geek question - does OpenGL make the best use of T&L hardware acceleration?

or is Direct3D better now - I notice that all the cards talk about their compliance with DirectX but not opengl. Also, my nice new 128MB GeForce 5200 was giving me serious lag spikes when playing CZ deleted scenes and that is NOT good - very disappointed - seems like all this stuff about graphics cards getting better is bullshit.

hey Mr. I'm-The-Biggest-Geek-When-It-Suits-Me, this is a serious question - the answer for which should help stop you whingeing about how slow your computer is (I say "should" because of course you whine because that's what you do - quite independent of the speed of your machine ) so when do you get to Berlin?
