its a party weekend but am guessing they'll all be in bed by 5am so I'm up for playing
either Saturday or Sunday is good for me

just explain to them what you were doing and explain what you want and I'm sure they'll help you. At present, even if we get a game organised, you can't play and it sounds like you wont be able to until you write to steam and get them to help you out. They normally reply within 48 hours which would have been a couple of weeks ago by now. You need to write to Steam or go buy new cd keys.
Remember I have a spare 1.6 cd key if you need it.

I can get one games machine running pretty quickly when i need to. Stix has a spare machine so that should be ok. But I will write when I can be arsed spending my valuable spare time sorting out overeager software control freaks.

oh bugger! I guess if we wait for everyone to be able to play then we're never gonna get a game. I really do think you should all play without me when you can get the numbers.
Sometimes my plans change and I can join but I wont commit unless I'm certain I can play.
I don't know if you saw the link i sent for the steam troubleshooter - looks like it might be worth a try.
Are you moving both days?
