no its all good so far as i know. satellite can offer very good BB service although up to now it has tended to be over priced when compared to dsl, cable or even line-of-sight wireless. the big question for us as gamers though is ping times. del has expericence of using satellite phones at sea and says that from his experience there's no reason why ping times should be excessively high. however, this is the thing to check before subscribing to a satellite service if you wanna play action games. up to now, satellite has had the reputation of high ping times and lossy comms but this may all be about to change - I hope..... you thinking of getting it? do they not do dsl in your area?
