so is everyone apart from me and nix having a shit time with steam? is there any possibility of CS at some time in the future?

now that I'm not trying to squeeze the life out of my keys it's fine... (just one machine steamed). i prefer it to old cs as the interface seems more stable. They are not very good on support - no useful response to my emails trying to resurrect stuck accounts... and i don't like their tie down everything that moves attitude. But on balance the evolution is a good thing.

I'm back in Interlaken with probably no chance to play. I still don't know if my "flush packet entity" problem was a Berlin isp one or a configuration on my machine one and doubt I'll get a cahance to find out now till I get back to Glasgow and invited round to rex's for a game! By the way Rex, hope you'll feel like helping me resurect my old desktop when I get back as I'm gonna have to send my laptop away to get the cd rom fixed!
