Subject: The balconies - Grampians

Well, it was on the second day of our trip in the mountains, the first day was fucking hot, i nearly killed us by taking us into the bush and climbing up this what seemed like a wee mountain but as it had no cover it was really hot, i then nearly got us lost, so i was going to ask her then but decided that as she was really annoyed with me and the flies were really getting to us that maybe this wasnt the moment.. so i waited until the second day, this day was much better, so i took her to this view point which is really famous with this big bit of rock that hangs over a 400 metre drop, you have to climb over the railing and then do a bit of scrambling to get to it as they dont allow people to stand on it as dumbasses have been known to fall of! , she was a bit nervous as she was quite understandably not so keen on my navigation and mountain craft abilities, i took her out to the ledge and then took a photo of her on it, i was then going to join her but as she had just looked down, she was wanting of it so as she was getting of it, i joined her and asked her and she said yes... so there you go i am going to get married. ..

Were you blocking her way off the rock by any chance when you asked her? If so, hats off to you man! Sounds like the perfect blend of romance and coercion
