Subject: Good session! Fix is back in town
Fix was back shooting heads like it aint nothing. No team kills. Reckon the new laptop and the broadband have been initiated.
Kaiser was tearing holes in people too. Nice to see you both back in the saddle.
Looks like the move to CS:Source is well on its way whether I think we're ready or not. Just gotta get the neilsons and a few other stragglers converted....

the built in administrator account on stix's games machine has gone schizoid and got itself very confused... only solution is a reinstall but given the legacy collection of hardware his two machines might become one slightly better machine beforehand. That said, my machine couldn't really do source comfortably so really this is a stopgap to stix getting himself a performance beast... what's the budget? it's frustrating not being able to crank up the graphics AND move! how did your laptop perform fix?

laptop ran smoooooth. as you would expect with a gig of ram..... not being pissed also helps....

Yeah, mine needs major surgery but was hoping to have a dedicated gaming beast and a simple one for my work.
rex is on the case and I am glad he is here as all the geeks have buggered off.

those two machines are reaching retirement age now Stix I'm afraid with respect to gaming. I would leave them be for use as office word processnig email machines or maybe even give one away to your mum or other family member with low performance needs.
What you want is a new big sexy beast. Decide on a budget (not less than 1000 IMHO) and Rex and I will confer on your new spec. K? K!
