... am looking atupgrading the office to gigabit networking. Am coming across managed, unmanaged, 2-layer, 3-layer, and smart switches - WTF!!! would rather not pay $3000 but don't want a piece of crap either. Am currently tending towrds the linksys/cisco SRW2024 for around $500 US. Its got webview, traffic monitoring and port/packet filtering plus lots of smart sounding stuff and plus linksys make my router/gateway so they should play nice. Grix/Dex have you much/any experience in this?

I used dimmmer switches from B&Q £4.99 each ( £5.99 in crome) ...........work a treat.......
