i had a very nice cake once and the magic ingredient had been mixed in before baking - it was delicious although dangerously moreish

try gently frying the leaves of the magic ingredient in about a pound of butter for about 30 mins, then strain and use the butter as usual in the recipe?

yep Kaiser is right make the butter first then use the butter to cook - either bud or solid work same. also never eat green raw as is v. bad for your gut.

boil the magic bit or any part of the plant for that matter in water/butter mix (yes v. messy ) then strain and cool . .keep the butter chuck the water (nix) . . .
